Ways to share a Chirp

Every way a Chirp reaches people: its link, an access code, your website, your profile, your own domain and more.

When you're done, you know the ways to put your Chirp in front of people, and which one to use.

Who this is for: anyone who has built a Chirp and wants people to use it.

First, publish it: under 8. Sharing, choose Unlisted (anyone with the link) or Public (anyone, and listed on your profile), and click Save. See Publish, update or unpublish a Chirp.

Share (1) copies the link, Embed (2) puts the chat on a website, and Open public page (3) shows what visitors see.

Share (1) opens its link to copy, Embed (2) gives you the code for your website, and Open public page (3) shows it the way visitors see it, once it's published.

Good to know

  • Visitors don't need an account. They open the link and chat.
  • Every reply uses your OpenRouter key (or the workspace's own key, if it has one). Set daily limits so a busy day can't surprise you: see Visitor limits and pausing a Chirp.
  • Visitors see the published version. Most later edits stay private until you click Publish changes. A few apply as soon as you save: the web address, who can open it, the access code, pausing, daily limits and the main address.
  • Make it look like yours: see Brand color, greeting, a button, and the badge.
  • Your AI app can publish too, if you've connected it: see Build and update Chirps with your AI app.
