Export your data and delete your account
Download your Chirps, leads and other records, delete what you no longer need, and ask us to delete your account.
When you're done, you have a copy of what you want to keep, and you know how to delete parts of your data or your whole account.
Who can do this: the account owner, with or without a plan. Team members can't export the owner's Chirps or delete the owner's account.
Download your data
- Chirps: on the Chirps page, Export all downloads every Chirp in the workspace you're in, drafts and archived ones included. To export one, click ••• on its card, then Export. Each Chirp comes with its settings, instructions, starters, picture, knowledge files and Actions. See Export Chirps and import a package.
- Leads: Leads, Download CSV. See The Leads page and exporting leads.
- People who signed in to a protected Chirp or Collection: CSV under People who signed in, in its Who can open this Chirp (or Collection) settings.
- Analytics: CSV on the By Chirp table (with a plan), and on the other tables with Creator, Business or Academy.
- Academy: Download CSV on a course's Students tab.
Exports never include API keys, access codes or visitor data. They do include webhook addresses, which work like passwords, so keep the .zip safe.
No download covers your Collections, Academy courses, saved versions and History, or settings such as branding, team, custom domains, email services and webhooks.
Delete parts of your data
- A Chirp: •••, Delete. Its knowledge files, saved versions, Actions and their keys go with it; leads it collected, its analytics and its History entries stay. See Duplicate, archive or delete a Chirp.
- A lead: the bin beside it on the Leads page. It's removed from Chirp Builder only, not from your email service or webhook.
- Someone who signed in: the X beside their email under People who signed in.
- A key: Remove on the OpenRouter card in Settings, or Remove key on an Action.
- An AI app: Disconnect under Connected apps in Settings.
- A student: see Student data in your Academy.
Delete your account
You can't delete your Chirp Builder account yourself yet. Ask us, and we'll delete it:
- With a plan: open Help, and in Ask us choose My account or team. See Ask us for help.
- Without a plan: Ask us offers Plan and billing. Use that, and ask us to delete your account.
- Or email joanaltres@dfydata.com.
Say which email address your account uses. Download anything you want to keep first: deleting can't be undone.
What deleting your account removes
Everything in it: your profile and login, your Chirps and their files, Collections, leads, analytics, Actions and their keys, your workspaces (so your team loses access to them), your Academy with its students, your support requests and your AI app connections. Team members keep their own accounts.
Deleted means removed from the app; backups roll off on their usual schedule. If you ever had a trial, we keep a one-way hash of your email, so each email address gets one trial, and a record of the trial itself (its plan and dates, without your email or name). Copies outside Chirp Builder stay: leads already sent to your email service or webhook, new-lead emails, and OpenRouter's records.
Good to know
- If your paid plan ends, nothing is deleted. Your Chirps stop answering, and you can still export them and download your leads. See What you can do without a plan. If a free trial ends without a plan, you have 7 days to export, and then everything in the account is deleted.
- To change your email address, email joanaltres@dfydata.com. Your name and username change in Settings: see Change your name, username or email.
- Academy students can download their data and delete their own Academy account: see Your account and your data.
- Visitors' conversations were never kept by Chirp Builder, so they aren't in any download: see What happens to visitors' conversations.
