What Essentials, Creator, Business and Academy cost monthly or annually, what each one includes, and how to get a plan while checkout isn't open.
When you're done, you know what each plan costs, what it includes, and how to get one.
Who this is for: anyone, with or without an account. The Pricing page is open to everyone.

- Open Pricing at the top of the Chirp Builder website (on a phone or tablet, it's at the bottom of the page).
- Choose Monthly or Annual (1). Annual says "Save about 17%": a year costs the same as 10 months.
- Each card shows the plan's price, who it's for and what it includes. With Annual, it also shows about what the plan comes to each month.
The Get Essentials, Get Creator (2), Get Business and Get Academy buttons don't charge anything yet: see Getting a plan.

What each plan includes
Every plan has unlimited Chirps and includes: building and moving GPTs with Claude or ChatGPT (MCP), public sharing and website embedding, all compatible OpenRouter models with web search and images, GPT Actions that read and update data in other apps, your own colors and greeting without the Chirp Builder badge, basic analytics, lead forms and a Leads page, sending leads to your email service or a webhook, folders, and exporting your Chirps.
- Essentials is for individuals replacing or building GPT-like Chirps.
- Creator (for internet marketers, coaches and course creators): everything in Essentials, plus Public Chirp Collections; password, invitation and email access; advanced analytics; enhanced branding (logo, themes, fonts, welcome content); and builder seats for editors.
- Business (for agencies and multi-client businesses): everything in Creator, plus client management, handing a workspace over to a client, team roles (workspace admins, editors, and viewers who don't use a seat), advanced white labeling, reports across all your workspaces, event webhooks for all account activity, and priority support.
- Academy (for educators, course creators, coaches and trainers): everything in Creator, plus courses, modules and lessons with AI tutors; student accounts, progress and learning paths; and quizzes, grades and completion certificates.

Coming soon
Items with a yellow Coming soon tag, like the one outlined in the table, are still being built and don't work yet:
- GPT Actions where each visitor signs in to their own account (OAuth). Until then, Actions use an API key or no sign-in.
- Ready-made Chirp templates.
Your AI costs are separate
The Pricing page says: "Every Chirp Builder plan uses your own OpenRouter API key. AI model usage, web searches, and image generation are charged separately by OpenRouter. Your Chirp Builder subscription covers the software, hosting, publishing, and included platform features." See What OpenRouter is, and who pays for what.
Getting a plan
Plans can't be bought online yet: the page says plans go on sale when checkout opens. A Get button opens the sign-up page, or your Billing page if you're logged in.
To get a plan now, email joanaltres@dfydata.com. We set it up on your account by hand, and your Billing page then shows it.
Good to know
- There's no free plan. Without a plan you can sign up, look around and work in workspaces other people share with you: see What you can do without a plan.
- "Limits are starting settings and may be adjusted before launch." Unlimited Chirps means no cap on how many Chirps you create; storage and fair-use limits still apply.
- Changing your plan or billing period, and cancelling, aren't online yet either. Email the same address.
- Monthly or Annual stays chosen until you close the browser tab, on your Billing page too.
