Check an import

Your imports shows each import and what became of every GPT in it: drafts to check, failures and notes.

EssentialsCreatorBusinessAcademyFor: Account owner

When you're done, you'll know which GPTs came over, which need attention, and what to fix.

Who can do this: the account owner, on any plan.

Open the list

In the menu, click Import and scroll to Your imports. It shows your last 20 imports, from your AI app or from a package you uploaded, newest first.

Your imports: what became of each GPT.

Each import shows its date and a summary such as "2 of 2 imported". Under it, each GPT shows one of:

  • Draft, Unlisted or Public, with how many knowledge files it has, and Open to check it.
  • Failed, with the reason in red.
  • Deleted since, if you've deleted that Chirp.

Original downloads the settings the GPT arrived with, so you can compare.

Read the notes

When something needs your attention, a note appears under the GPT: for example, that an Action needs its API key added again, or that a GPT used something Chirp Builder doesn't have, such as running code. When you upload a package, its notes (skipped files, Actions that need their API key) appear only right after the upload, so read them before you leave the page.

Next steps

  1. Click Open on each draft, check it, and try it in the preview.
  2. Fix anything in the notes: add API keys to Actions, add skipped files in another format.
  3. Publish it: Publish, update or unpublish a Chirp.
  4. For a GPT that failed, ask your AI app, in the same chat, to import it again. It won't make a duplicate.
