# Your public profile page

> The page that lists all your Public Chirps, and how to set the name and username it uses.

When you're done, you know what your profile page shows and how to share it.

**Who this is for:** account owners on any plan.

## Your profile's address

`https://www.chirpbuilder.com/u/your-username`. To set your name and username, open **Settings**: the
first card has **Full name** and **Username**. Click **Save changes**.

Usernames use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. Changing it changes your profile's address, and
the old address stops working.

## What it shows

Your name and a card for each of your **Public** Chirps, with its picture and description. Clicking a
card opens the chat.

- Only **Public** Chirps are listed, never Unlisted ones, drafts or archived ones. You don't choose:
  making a Chirp Public lists it.
- It includes Public Chirps from all your workspaces, except a workspace where full white label is
  switched on, since those carry a client's brand.
- With no Public Chirps, it says "No public Chirps yet."

Nothing in the app links to your profile, so share its address yourself, for example on your website or
social media.

## If it doesn't work

- **"Username: 3–40 lowercase letters, numbers or dashes."**
- **"That username is taken."** Try another.
- **A Chirp is missing:** it's Unlisted or a draft (choose **Public** under **8. Sharing** and save),
  archived (click **Bring back** on its card), or in a white-labelled workspace.
