When you're done, you have a Collection page with the Chirps you chose.

**Who can do this:** on the Creator, Business and Academy plans, the account owner and workspace admins
and editors. Making it public needs publishing rights: editors only if the owner allows it.

## Make it

1. Open **Collections** in the menu. Type a name in the box, like "Bike Repair Basics", and click
**Create Collection** (1). The editor opens.

![The Collections page: the box to name a new Collection with Create Collection (1), and the card of Bike Repair Basics, Unlisted, with 2 Chirps (2).](https://mjmtbasmrtksluvlnema.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/help-media/web-optimized/collections-leads/make-a-collection/SS-MKT-010-01__collections-page__creator__desktop__v01.webp?v=bd4d5207b0)

2. In **The page**, fill in:
   - **Name** (up to 80 characters) and **Web address** (made from the name: 3 to 60 lowercase letters,
numbers or dashes, not starting or ending with a dash). "Changing it breaks links you've already
     shared."
   - **Description:** what these Chirps help with, and who they're for. Up to 2,000 characters.
   - **Cover picture:** a wide picture works best; it's cropped to 3:1.

![The Page section of Bike Repair Basics: Name, Web address /collection/leo-bike-repair-basics, Description, Cover picture, Brand color, Show the Chirps as, and Who can see it set to Unlisted.](https://mjmtbasmrtksluvlnema.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/help-media/web-optimized/collections-leads/make-a-collection/SS-MKT-010-02__collection-page-settings__creator__detail__v01.webp?v=5589f208e7)

3. Under **Add Chirps from this workspace**, click **Add** next to each Chirp you want. Up to 60.
   Archived Chirps aren't offered.
4. Under **Who can see it**, choose **Unlisted** (anyone with the link) or **Public** (anyone, and search
engines may list it). A new Collection starts as **Draft**: its link doesn't open for anyone, and only you and your team see
   it in the dashboard.
5. Click **Save**. For an Unlisted or Public Collection: "Saved. Visitors see the changes now." There's
   no separate publishing step.

Each card on the Collections page (2) shows the cover, the name, who can see it, its address and how
many Chirps it has.

## Good to know

- **Only Chirps from the same workspace** can be on a Collection. A Chirp can be on several Collections.
- **Draft and archived Chirps** don't show to visitors. The editor says "Draft, so visitors don't see it
  until it's published".
- **Each Chirp keeps its own settings,** such as an access code or a password.
- **Make it look like yours** with a brand color and the layout: see
  [Arrange a Collection's page and its Chirps](https://www.chirpbuilder.com/help/collections-leads/arrange-a-collection).

## If it doesn't work

- **"Collections come with the Creator, Business and Academy plans."**
- **"Already taken"** or **"The web address "…" is already taken. Pick another."**
- **"A Collection can show up to 60 Chirps"**
- **"One Chirp isn't in this Collection's workspace. Pick Chirps from the same workspace."**
