# My courses and learning paths

> See all your courses and your progress in one place, and follow a learning path's courses in order.

When you're done, you know where you are in each course and what to do next.

**Who this is for:** students, signed in to the Academy.

## My courses

After you sign in, **My courses** lists every course you have a place on, with your progress bar and
where you are:

- **Not started:** your teacher gave you a place and you haven't begun.
- **Active** or **Completed.**
- **Asked to join:** you asked for a place and the teacher hasn't answered yet.
- **Access ended:** your place on the course has ended.
- **Opens when you finish** another course: it's next on your learning path (see below).

Click **Start**, **Continue** or **Open** to go to the course. A course you can't open yet has
**See the course** instead.

To get back here from a course, click the arrow at the top left.

## Learning paths

A learning path is a set of courses to take in order. If your teacher added you to one, it's listed under
**Learning paths**, with how many of its courses you've done.

- A tick means the course is done.
- A lock with "Opens after the one before" means you finish the course before it first.
- Click a course's name to open its page.

When you complete the last course, the path is completed, and you get the path's certificate if it has
one: see [Your certificate](https://www.chirpbuilder.com/help/academy-students/certificates).
