# Reports and student records

> See your Academy's totals, each course's progress and quiz scores, students who have gone quiet, and everything one student has done.

When you're done, you know how your courses are going and which students might need a nudge.

**Who can do this:** anyone on your team who can open the Academy.

## The Reports tab

On the **Academy** page, click **Reports**.

- **The totals** at the top: students, students active this month, places on courses, completions and
  certificates.
- **Courses:** for each course, its places, students active in the last 30 days, completions (and the
  share of places), average progress, average quiz score and last activity. "Asking for a place" under a
  course's name means requests are waiting for you. **CSV** downloads that course's students.
- **Students to check on:** students who have a place, haven't finished, and haven't been active for 14
  days, up to 50 at a time. **Email** opens a new email to them in your email app.

Places count students who started or were given a place. Requests still waiting for an answer and ended
places aren't counted. The quiz score is the average of each student's best graded attempt.

## A student's record

Click a student's name, here or on a course's **Students** tab, to see everything they've done in your
Academy.

- When they first signed in and when they were last active. **Email** writes to them, and
  **Change name** corrects the name used on their certificates.
- **Courses:** each place, its status and progress, and whether it came through a learning path.
- **Certificates:** each certificate, with **PDF**, **Check page**, **Reissue** and **Revoke**. See

- **Quiz attempts:** every attempt, with its score and whether it passed.
- **Lessons completed:** the latest 20; **Show all** lists the rest.

## Download a course's students

**Download CSV** on a course's **Students** tab, or **CSV** on the Reports tab, saves a spreadsheet with
each student's name, email, status, how they joined, dates, progress, lessons completed, best score on
each quiz and certificate.
